FCP: 4-year full time training in Internal Medicine. High intensity training that includes all spheres of general internal medicine. Done at King Edward Hospital, University of Natal, Durban, South Africa
Masters in Clinical Pharmacology (MPharmMed): 3-year part time training in clinical pharmacology that includes medical biostatistics and publishing a manuscript upon completion. Done at University of Pretoria, Pretoria, South Africa.
FCP-Cert in Cardio: 3-year full time training in cardiology including non-invasive and invasive cardiology. It covers in all spheres of cardiology from congenital heart diseases, valvular disorders, cardio-myopathies/pericardial diseases, ischaemic heart disease and basic electrophysiology. Done at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital, Durban, South Africa.
Cardiac Electrophysiology: 2-year training at Ottawa Heart Institute, which includes basic science in cardiac electrophysiology, ECG/EGM interpretations, clinic and ward work, device implant and follow-up and electrophysiology study and ablation.
