Dr Hansa’s interest lies in interventional cardiology.  This includes complex intervention involving not only single vessel, but also but multiple vessel stenting aswell as bifurcating lesions.  Chronic total occlusion and revascularisation of these.  Rotablation for extremely calcified vessels prior to stenting.  Implantation of pacemakers, biventricular pacemaker is for cardiac resynchronisation therapy and implantable cardiac defibrillators.

Personal Information

Dr Hansa enjoys functional training as a method to keep fit, paragliding, extreme 4 x 4 competitions, diving, woodwork, and obstacle course racing.

Education and Training

Dr Hansa’s studies includes studying Medicine at the University of Witwatersrand in 1992 and studying Cardiology at University of Cape Town.
